Who we are

Information we collect

• Guest viewing: a random installation identifier, content impressions, playback starts, pauses, completion, buffering, sharing actions and playback position.
• Optional account: your verified phone number and the display name you provide.
• Account activity: saved shows, watch progress, likes, comments and comment reports.
• Technical information: basic request and security logs created by our hosting providers.

Kahiyo does not request precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access. The V0 app contains no advertising SDK.

How we use information

We use this information to stream episodes, restore playback, show your library, operate likes and comments, rank and improve recommendations, prevent abuse, moderate user content and keep the service reliable.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database and API infrastructure; Cloudflare provides media delivery; and Twilio sends verification codes. These providers process information for Kahiyo under their security and data-protection terms. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing from the app

The Share action opens WhatsApp or your Android share sheet with a Kahiyo link. Kahiyo does not receive your contacts, recipient list or private message.

Retention and deletion

Account information and account activity are kept while the account remains active. Deleting your account removes your authentication record, profile, saved shows, progress, likes, comments, reports and blocks. Aggregated or de-identified analytics and limited security logs may remain where they can no longer identify your account.

Delete your account

Security and choices

Information is encrypted in transit. You may watch without an account. You can avoid account data by not signing in, and you can remove an existing account from Profile inside the app.

Children

Kahiyo is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Updates

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above will change when a material update is published.
